A journalist of over two decades in active practice, Isa holds a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Performing Arts from University of Ilorin, in addition to a Diploma in Journalism from Lagos based Nigerian Institute of Journalism ( NIJ).

He started his active journalism career with Business Times, a title of the old Daily Times Plc in Lagos. In 2000, he was transferred to Abuja as Business Times Correspondent covering economy, finance and related sectors.

Isa joined Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust in 2006 as a senior business correspondent. He later joined NICON Insurance Plc in 2007 as media relations officer while in 2009, he moved to the Peoples Daily newspaper where he became Head, Business desk in 2010.

He left in 2014 to join the New Telegraph as Head of business, Abuja Bureau. Isa is an awardee of Nigerian Media Merit Award ( NMMA).
