President of Ogori Descendants Union, Rev. Dr. Gabriel Aiso joined the Muslims at the Eid prayer ground to observe this year Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a display of unity, respect and religious harmony, Aiso’s physical presence underscored his passion for inclusivity and cultural diversity among the people of the community.
At the occasion, Aiso appealed for deeper peaceful coexistence among people of various religious beliefs while commending the State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo over his efforts towards good governance. “Your leadership is a beacon of hope for our community” he said.
In the spirit of generosity that aligns with the teachings of Eid, Aiso demonstrated his commitment to community support by making a cash donation to assist the local mosque.
In recognition of the need for improved facilities at the Eid prayer ground, he also pledged to provide public address system for ease of communication.
The ODU President’s gesture is a profound commitment to fostering a spirit of brotherhood, compassion, and cooperation among all members of the community. As we celebrate Eid, let us be inspired by such acts of kindness, and work together to promote peace, understanding, and support for one another he stressed as he prayed for abundant blessings and unity.
