Interfaith Harmony Week: ‘We must ensure no one is left behind’ – GPFN

The Country Director of Global Peace Foundation Nigeria, GPFN, Rev John Hayab has called on Nigerian Christians to make interfaith harmony a reality and ensure that no one is left behind.

His call is in commemoration of the World Interfaith Harmony Week 2025 with the theme: “Everyone Belongs – Celebrating Diversity and Fostering Belonging.”

Hayab advised that it is the collective responsibility of everyone to foster a society where people of all faiths feel included, valued, and respected.

He said, “In Nigeria, we live side by side with our brothers, neighbours, and friends from different faith backgrounds. No matter how few or many, everyone belongs, it is our collective responsibility to foster a society where people of all faiths feel included, valued, and respected.”

Hayab observed that this year’s World Interfaith Harmony Week serves as a reminder that despite religious differences, human beings are all interconnected and mutual respect is essential for a harmonious society.
