Pray for peace, unity and security – Achuba urges Muslims

The former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Simon Achuba has extended his warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across the country and Kogi State in particular on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

In a goodwill message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester, Elder Achuba, urged the Muslim faithful to continue to embody the spirit of sacrifice, obedience and unwavering faith as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

He called on the Muslim Ummah to use the sacred occasion of Eid-el-Kabir to offer prayers for peace, unity, security and the nation at large.

The former Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of interfaith harmony and collective responsibility in building a united and prosperous Nigeria. He encouraged the Muslim faithful to work in synergy with their fellow citizens towards the shared goal of a peaceful and progressive society.

Elder Achuba particularly urged Muslims in Kogi state to use the occasion to reach out to the less privileged and equally make peace with their neighbours and the entire Kogites in the state.

He enjoined them to sustain the spirit of prayer and intercession for the continued peace and prosperity of Kogi state.
