He is Editor-in-chief and Chief Executive Officer of Greenbarge Reporters online newspaper and hardcopy magazine in Abuja is a product of Bayero University Kano with Professional Diploma in Mass Communications; International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) with Post Graduate in Journalism and Thompson Foundation in the UK, with Certificate in Business Journalism, etc.
He has been practicing Journalism profession since 1981, starting as a broadcaster with Kaduna State Radio station as announcer, Standard newspaper, Jos as Judicial correspondent, New Nigerian Newspapers, Kaduna as Kano State Editor; ThisDay newspaper in Lagos as Kano State Bureau Chief; Daily Trust in Abuja on political/environment desks as well as Corporate Affairs Manager/Annual Trust Dialogue Secretary, and People’s Daily newspaper in Abuja as Presidential Villa Chief Correspondent, amongst others. He had a brief stint with Scotland Time in the UK as proof editor.
He is a novelist, an author, a biographer and a lexicographer who has written and published Standard Ebira English Dictionary, co-authored translation of Holy Qur’an into Ebira language and has published his autobiography, titled: Not Because It’s Me, amongst many books.
